Written Worlds keeps the copyright.

The reader receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read the delivered book for personal use. Written Worlds retains authorship, copyright, publishing, adaptation, distribution, resale, and other commercial rights.

Buying a paperback copy gives the reader ownership of that physical copy, not ownership of the story or its intellectual-property rights.
